What sets us apart as a manufacturer of LED industrial luminaires
- Top quality
Our LED industrial luminaires are manufactured at our Bielefeld facility. CE compliance and EMC testing are standard practice. As a manufacturer, we also conduct our own heat and cold tests, mechanical testing, IP classification, and surge protection tests—ensuring maximum safety, durability, and performance.
- Personal advice
Industrial luminaires—whether for machine lighting or assembly workstations—are not easily replaced. Structural conditions must first be assessed, and often, additional changes are required. That’s why we offer personal consultation from your initial inquiry through to installation. Our goal: ensure your operations continue without disruption.
- Flexible collaboration
We offer top-tier quality along with a broad product portfolio. We welcome any comparison—our value speaks for itself. Through expert consultation, we help you find the best-fit solution. Since many requirements can be met in multiple ways, we offer flexibility in materials and collaboration models. We define your needs together and guide you to the ideal outcome.

By leveraging a broad portfolio of standard solutions and decades of expertise, we minimize the need for full custom development—resulting in significant time and cost savings for you.

LED Industrial Lighting – Common Questions and Expert Answers
Industrial luminaires are classified according to IP protection standards, also known as IP ratings. We offer all common IP classes and can also manufacture custom solutions upon request. Popular options include LED industrial luminaires with IP54, IP67, and IP69K ratings. Our experts are happy to advise you on the right protection class for your application.
Our 24V LED industrial luminaires meet protection class III standards, meaning they operate exclusively on extra-low voltage—eliminating any electrical hazard. In addition to class III, we also offer luminaires in protection class II (protective insulation) and class I (with grounding). This allows us to meet a wide range of safety and installation requirements.
Most machines use 24V LED luminaires as a standard. But sometimes, 230V models come into play, especially when you need longer cable runs or want to power additional equipment directly from the machine.
Two common cover materials are plastic (PMMA) and toughened safety glass (ESG). The choice often depends on the installation environment, with fire safety considerations playing a significant role.
Industrial luminaires require specific protection against the ingress of foreign objects (code number 1) and water (code number 2). We provide luminaires covering all protection classes according to DIN 40050 Part 9. Various IP ratings are available, which can also influence the price. We include this as part of our personalized consultation.
An LED industrial luminaire refers to the complete lighting fixture, including all its components. In contrast, the LED industrial lamp specifically denotes the light source itself. However, these terms are sometimes used interchangeably.
Three major benefits of using LED technology in industrial luminaires
1. Lifespan
Thanks to optimized thermal management, we achieve the 60,000-hour service life specified by the LED manufacturer. The LED’s lifespan is considered over when light intensity falls below 70%.
The luminaire doesn’t fail abruptly; rather, its brightness gradually diminishes. In a three-shift operation running five days a week, the luminaire maintains over 70% of its luminosity for approximately 9.6 years.
In most cases, the luminaires outlive the machinery they are installed in.

2. Colour fidelity
Color fidelity is crucial for ensuring clear visibility at the point of use. The primary consideration is whether a white light or a multi-color (RGBW) lighting scheme is needed. One of the key advantages of LEDs is their excellent color fidelity.
With a CRI above 80, we meet the color rendering requirements typical in mechanical and plant engineering. The emitted wavelength ranges between 400 nm and 800 nm.
3. Beam angle
LEDs deliver uniform, flicker-free light, reducing eye strain and helping you tire less quickly. Unless otherwise specified, the beam angle is 120 degrees. The light output comes from numerous small LEDs rather than a single source.
This design minimizes shadows—such as those cast by your hand during tasks—resulting in fewer mistakes during daily work.
